After finally finding a solution that made the game run flawlessly, I decided I should share it with others. I spent a long time trying to find a sure fix that would let me play the game as it was intended. The port for Dead Space 1 isn't perfect, and nigh unplayable on some machines. The 25 FPS lock will fix the problem of the game feeling too smooth by recreating the feel of playing a game made by an overambitious development team trying to wring as much detail out of an aging console.Framerate slowdown? Mouse acceleration and sensitivity issues? The invisible door bug? The FPS lock should fix the problem some people had with not being able to move. It also has an FPS lock that can be set to 60 or 25.
The updated version changes some settings to make the PS1 effects more noticeable.
